— Fundraising, productized

Your grants office, on subscription.

Unlimited grant applications, reports, and appeals on a flat monthly subscription — for under-resourced nonprofits with $250K–$5M budgets. Built by a community foundation president who reads grants from the funder's side, so yours are written to win, not just to file. Pause after your first month.

How it works

The way development work should have been done.

No retainers. No $5,000 grant project fees. No waiting four weeks for a consultant to return your call. Just one flat monthly subscription and a queue you control.

— Step 01

Subscribe

Pick a plan, get onboarded the same day, and gain access to your private request board.

— Step 02

Request

Drop in a grant deadline, an appeal idea, a sponsorship deck need — anything development-related — and we get to work.

— Step 03

Receive

Average turnaround is 3–7 business days depending on your tier (3–5 on Pro). Revise as many times as you want until it's right.

Request anything

One subscription. Endless requests.

From a quick LOI to a multi-page case for support — if it lives in your development office, it lives in your queue.

Why this works

Built for the way under-resourced nonprofits actually run.

i

Flat monthly rate

No surprise invoices. No hourly billing. Same predictable price every month — easier to budget, easier to explain to your board.

ii

Fast turnaround

Most requests delivered in 3–7 business days, with Pro on the faster end. Tight grant deadline? Flag it in your queue and we'll prioritize.

iii

Unlimited requests

Stack the queue as high as you want. We work through it one or two at a time depending on your tier.

iv

Priced for real budgets

Less than the cost of a part-time development hire. Designed for orgs that have always needed this but never could justify the spend.

v

Pause after month one

Slow season? Pause your subscription and bank your remaining days. The clock stops until you're ready to pick back up.

vi

AI-backed, human-led

Behind the scenes, automation handles the heavy lifting — prospect matching, first drafts, data work. You get the polished output.

Division of labor

We handle production. You keep the relationships.

What to expect

What the first months look like.

Funding decisions belong to the funder, and they take time. Here's the honest arc.

— Month 1

The Foundation Sprint

Your funder pipeline, a reusable case-for-support and boilerplate library, and your first one to two applications submitted — all in your hands by day 30.

— Quarter 1

Volume

Applications going out every cycle, every report on time, and your pipeline re-ranked each month as new funders surface.

— Months 4–8

First decisions

When funding typically starts coming back. Grant cycles are long, so we set the pace early — the wait is expected, not a surprise.

Founder · President, Morland Community Foundation

I've run multiple 501(c)(3)s, sat on boards, written grants that won and grants that didn't, and watched too many strong-mission nonprofits stall because they couldn't afford a development director.

Causeflow Grants exists because I built the automation infrastructure to do this work at a fraction of the time it used to take — and the people I most want to serve are the ones who've always been priced out of professional fundraising support, whether they're working from a county seat in Kansas or a storefront office in Cleveland.

If your mission is real and your organization is under-resourced, you deserve the same caliber of development work as the larger nonprofits down the highway.

FAQ

Things you're probably wondering.

How many applications actually get funded?

No honest service promises a hit rate — funding is always the funder's decision. What we can tell you: well-matched grant programs convert at roughly 25–40%. In practice that means submitting 20–30 applications over a year to land 6–10. A decline isn't failure — it's the funnel working. We keep the volume high and the targeting sharp so the yearly math works in your favor.

Do you guarantee we'll be funded?

No — and you should be skeptical of anyone who does. Funding decisions belong to the funder. What we guarantee is sharp, well-researched, well-written, well-targeted submissions delivered on schedule. The rest is the work of the relationship and the alignment of fit.

What if we have a deadline coming up?

Flag it in your queue and we'll prioritize. As long as we have at least 5 business days for a typical grant application, we'll meet the deadline. Tighter than that, we'll tell you honestly whether we can hit it.

What if we don't have a funder pipeline yet?

That's exactly what the Pro tier is for. We'll build one for you — every month you'll receive a ranked list of 5–10 funders matched against your mission, programs, geography, and budget size, with deadlines and submission notes. You pick which to pursue and we write them.

How is this different from hiring a grant writer?

A freelance grant writer typically charges $2,000–$5,000 per application or $75–$150/hour. For one application a month, that's $24K–$60K a year. With Causeflow Grants, you get unlimited applications, reports, appeals, and supporting fundraising materials for a flat rate. The math gets favorable fast.

What about strategy versus writing?

The Pro tier includes a monthly 30-minute strategy call where we work through priorities, pipeline, and bigger-picture development questions. For multi-year capital campaign strategy or board-level development planning, those engage as separate scoped projects.

How do you handle confidential donor data?

Every client gets a private workspace. Donor data lives in your CRM, not ours. When we work on segmentation or stewardship, we do it inside your tools or against encrypted exports you control. NDAs available on request.

How does the pause feature actually work?

Subscription cycles run for 31 days. If you pause partway through — say, after 21 days — the remaining 10 days bank for future use. The clock simply stops. You can pause anytime after your first 30 days of active service. Banked days stay good for 12 months from the date you pause. When you're ready to come back, un-pause and pick up exactly where you left off — no re-onboarding, no setup fee.

Are there refunds?

Yes — and it's tied to delivery, not just a money-back window. If you don't have your funder pipeline and your first application in hand by day 30, we'll refund your first month in full. The Foundation Sprint is built to hit exactly that. After month one, completed work isn't refundable, but you can pause (banking your remaining days) or cancel anytime.
